Well - maybe it's me, BUT I find it hard to really make the lens usefull. It has to have a lot of light - talking daytime with lots of sun or you'll have a shaky picture. It has to have a very steady hand or else... yes, the same. It does not focus fast....

The Battery runs a PDW700 for about a year then with no warning and almost 14 months old all 6 of my Batts died within a week of each other. Sony don't care about this there warranty is only 1 year. $4000. worth of batteries now worthless.
